speck- Wish you luck, they usually book up pretty hard over the summer months, but hear me well-

*You will not find a nicer place to stay anywhere and it is run by some of the nicest people on Big Lake* Stayed at many of their lake homes and they are all awesome!

Default yep

Everything at G.I. has been battered so bad and most have done just enough to get back renting.
There is a motel called cajun holiday. 1st place on the left going around the curve onto the island that is real nice .
has rooms that will sleep4 w/ full kitchens and 1 cabin that will sleep 8 w/ full kitchen. Only place i stay anymore . unless i just want a cheap room just for me for a night or 2.

The Abadies camps are probably booked solid for the the next few weeks, try Spicers Marina, it's on the west side, they have some nice hotel type rooms their for around a 100 bucks a night. I called them earlier today and they had some openings. The number is 337-762-3170, now they are no way as nice as the cabins at heberts, but they are clean and neat and their is a full service marina there to boot.
