Did you try taking this issue to social media such as nautical stars facebook page? Post a short story and pictures and see what the reaction is. A company getting bad exposure on their own page is something they don't want to deal will. I did this with At&T. They had lied to us about a payment plan we were supposed to receive and told us they couldn't fix it, even after multiple hours on the phone. One post on Facebook and 1 hour later we had the deal we were supposed to get. It may not work in this case, but it could be worth a try?

Have your lawyer friend write a nasty threatening letter. Apply the heat and let them know that your not going away without a new boat.

Well we aren't going away without a new boat, but idk if this is the best method. Lol they called us back today and said they would repair all cracks, but we told them that's not we want since everyone we have talked to said that they will most likely come back even if they fix them. Once the cap goes through structural stress there's no stopping them. They said it would be different if we would have dropped something on the floor and it cracked, because then they repair may hold up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Tell the Dealer U want A complete Total refund of your money.... And go get U another brand boat... I would recommend Triton.....
Option 2... Get a lawyer to write a letter saying same thing.. Call State Office of consumer affairs. Report Dealer's giving U the run around..... Good Luck.... |

Getting a lawyer involved at this point will pretty much assure you that you will not get what you want without spending Way More Money in lawyer fees.

I agree. Dealer is in negotiation with Nautic Star as of now. They offered another year of repairing cracks that appear but we refused since they haven't stopped since we got it back. Also, I've been researching about the cracks and it seems that if the cracks were caused because of structural stress, then we can repair all we want but they will always come back. Dealer even agreed that would probably be the case. Still asking for new boat. Maybe they will do us right. I have hope. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

My Nautic Star Experience
Following. Hate to hear you're going through this. I've had my Nautic Star 3 years this week. Although it's 10 years old this year I couldn't imagine spending that kind of money for these kind of problems.
Squeaky wheel gets the grease. Stay on them and keep us posted. Also we can share this story on every fishing forum or social media site to get some exposure if and when needed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Last edited by Jsnolan99; 05-31-2017 at 02:32 AM. |

Got a call in from Nautic Star yesterday. It seems they are offered something we didn't know was possible. They said they can replace the cap with a brand new one. We didn't know that was possible since last time they had to cut into the hull to get the cap off. We are still working out the details, but I'm glad they are working with us now.
