Default Best way to clean a magazine

I dropped my 45 1911 mag in wet sand/mud I cleaned it pretty well but what would you boys suggest?

Not sure of your brand but search YouTube. They will probably have a video showing how to break down your magazine.

It's an antique I don't think it come apart? I was thinking about soaking it in some sort of chemical I have know idea???
