Default Cocodrie bound.

Heading out in a little bit for the weekend. Gonna try my luck in lake Robinson and Boudreaux. Any word on that area? I actually have a fishing date with a little cutie from Houma in the morning. I need to impress with some results! Lol.

Can you believe a woman wants to go fishing for a first date! Yeah boy!!

Nothing wrong with that.
I have not been there since november
I would try lake boudreaux. if you come out of the canal with the draw bridge head out at about 11:00 for about 1 mile and look for the droop off with the bottom reader. They have a few deep holes that hold fish. If my boat was not in the shou I would shoot you the numbers.

More importantly we need pics of the "cutie" from Houma. When the sun comes up go find some ponds with grass and throw a gold sppon that has always worked for me back there.

We've done good back there with the Bomber "Who Dat" spoons and Marsh Works spinner baits. I will be heading to the north side of Lake Boudreaux when I get back from South Korea next month to sight cast some reds and finally get my new Gator Tail slimmy.

Well it was a very nice day yesterday. But it was calm early till about 10am and the gnats ate us up so I couldn't stay long at any spot until the breeze picked up a bit. Ended up with 3 trout and 3 redfish. Threw back a few smaller reds and a half dozen sheepshead. She enjoyed it and caught a few. We fished from 8 till 5 and if the fish were biting we would of been there till dark according to her. Trout were caught on the east bank of Lake Boudreaux along the rocks. The reds were caught when the lake got rough and we went back to the Robinson canal and anchored down, cracked open the beers and drowned some shrimp on the bottom.

May want to try the north shore near the production facility...about 70 - 100 yards out they dredged to back fill the marsh. Keep your eye on the depth finder...will get to 12 - 14 ft. Good spots in the cold weather.
