Default 7mm-08 reduced recoil loads

Anyone have any experience with these particular bullets?? Trying to decide on the right bullets to use this upcoming season for my daughters 7mm-08. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

my wife uses a fedral premiun vital shok trophy copper . they are not reduced recoil , her gun is very lightweight but they are manageable rounds . you are welcome to snag a handful of bullets from me for your daughter to test out

I started my 7yr old on reduced recoil loads for practice in his cva hunter and have slipped in a few full power Winchester 140 gr and he never even noticed so I don t know if its a gimmick or not but come October 25 youth hunt the woods will tremble

You and her would be better served by a quality recoil pad. Simms has a great one. It is so soft things will stick to it.
That being said do what makes her feel comfy and helps her shoot well. A well placed bullet works better than all the power in the world.

7mm08 does not kick hard at all. You should try a few yourself before you hand the rifle over I think you'll be surprised. I own 3 different rifles in that caliber and all are very mild kickers.
