Default Who's ready?

Has everybody spent their time on the range and ready for the rifle season opener? I'm still slacking. I mounted my daughters new bases, scope and rings, but still need to boresight, and get it on the $. 3 other rifles to check too. Its hard for me to break away from the flounder to spend an evening or 2 on the range.

Last 2 shots at 100 yards, after sighting in a new scope 4 years ago. Moved sights one click up and one click to the right...... called it good.

Default Those boys^^ got it going on!!

We have been fired up. I bow hunt and my two boys prefer the crossbow, all though we do love going to the range to sling some lead!!
We have not cut a hair yet this year but we are seeing a lot of deer . Hope the wind gets right soon! We are on some good deer. Just waiting so we don't mess them up. Been passing on the foes because of the real late drop. The fawns are still nursing..

Default Where am I hunting

That's a tough question. Lol, I'm in a lease by Kentwood that's 5200 ac but I actually use that for turkey hunting. I focus on a price of property in Baton Rouge that I have really nice deer on. Just waiting on a good wind to hunt it with the right moon phase. Then, we have a bunch of deer behind my house where we take the doe's .
Couldn't go this year but we have 2400 ac in Missouri on the Missouri River , we kill some awesome deer there but we turkey hunt it more than deer. For me,, I love to deer hunt but turkey hunting is my passion. Gun or bow
