Got a buddy that works at Toledo Fiberglass. They stay busy anyways but the low water has made them real busy. Also are selling a lot of gorilla hulls (preventitve I guess)

The gorilla coating is the bomb! Would love to get the bottom of my whaler coated one day.

Busted the first hull and cracked the second, Thank god ProGator is a double hull boat, i had about four miles back to the launch when i noticed water in the bottom of my boat. I thought i had just cracked it, I would have never guessed i had a hole that big in the bottom LOL

Doesnt ProGator have a lifetime hull warranty ??? Seems like I remember Moon quoting that on their ads...

Hopefully nobody was hurt...

it is a "coating" they put on the bottom of the boat to strengthen the bottom. Adds about 200lbs to the hull and works very well from what I hear.

Cool, thanks! I'm having a new inboard jet boat built for bowfishing our shallow, rocky rivers here in E.Texas and will be looking into some type of a hull protective coating.

I'll check into it...

According to the website it only adds 30-50 pounds. http://www.toledofiberglass.com/NEWP...rillahull.html

My brother in law had his triton done there, it added 300 plus pounds to the boat but made it on avg. 3-5mph faster. He said that it has something to do with changing the hull design towards the pad area..he also had busted his on a stump when the water was low one year..
