I heard same thing. Guy at gun shop said Mossberg felt cheap, lots of plastic. Said to buy S &W. Budsgunshop has both in stock

Shooters has the 1522 in the MOE version in stock. Academy in lafayette had the plain version behind the counter last week but they will not display.
Check out this comparison. I bought my son a mp15-22 after seeing this.

ive put my hands on the mossberg (havent shot it). felt really cheap to me. would save a little more money and buy one of the nicer ones out there

I bought a Ruger 10/22 and slapped it in an Archangel stock with a 25 rd magazine, red dot scope and regular scope and I love it.
