Default Night fishing questions

I have a buddy coming down this weekend and we will not be able to get on the water till about 6:30-7:00 pm. We are prolly gonna fish the Prien area and we are gonna fish late. Just wondering if anybody has or does night fish and any tips in advance? Thanks in advance for any info.

Several of the lights near the country club will hold redfish... key is knowing when they come on. You may get lucky.... there are a few that are submerged so be on the look out for those. Also, I have done well near laberge when I couldnt find lights. There is a little light put off by there and a few spots that hold fish. I dont fish prien at night much but those would be the two options I would try first.

Be courteous dont roll up on a set of lights on the big motor. Troll in sit out in the dark and throw inward, if somebody is on THEIR warf dont start fishn before askin, ask if you can fish the outer ring....ive been aaked numerous times to get out and join them on THEIR dock....some will tell no and move the hell on or kill the lights, some will say yes......good luck...remember THEIR lights attract fish...

what are you looking to get into??? where are you launching? If i was launching at 6:30pm and wanted lights to be an option i would put in at prien, fish haymark til dark, check moss lake ligths on the way in, and then hit the country club lights. I dont know how the spec fishing has been but the salinity is very low right now. Reds may be your best option.

Best advise, ask politely and most will go out of their way to help. Just watch out for the sekurity at CC, they busted me for launching last year and I thought he was going to call the LC SWAT team out on me.
