Default reel upgrades

someone gave me a slightly used curado 200e5 and since i got it for nothing im wanting to hop it up. ceramic bearings and polish it up or whatever goes on with it. anyone know where to find out what size bearing and where to get them or better yet someone i could send it to and have this done? thanks

Pm if ya would like me ta get the schematics n price sum upgrades. Im not tryin ta take reelmans business but i do work and upgrade curados exclusively. Hey meaux how them green gals holdin up?
They still treatin ya right?

Just got a 200e7 in yesterday. What kind of mods can u do to it? Also have about 5 older curados.

My suggestion would be not to mess with a reel unless you are having problems with it.

I'd try it out on 1 reel, just to see what all the fuss is about......if it makes that big a difference then hook em all up.....

Boca Bearings has a kit that has all but a new roller bearing. Very east to install, I put them in all my reels.

Simple things. But ta be honest ,
i wouldnt start upgradin and tinkerin till ya have a noticeable reason to do so. I just put 540 bux worth of ceramics in a brand new reel. Needless to say its just as smooth as before the upgrade. Also be prepared fer more noise wiyh hynrid ceramics. Full ceramics are not nearly as noisy. Lemme know if i can help ya

couldnt you just buy a few new ones for the price of one upgrade? i guess what I'm getting at is it really worth that kind of money?

Yes ya can buy sum new ones but the reason i goto ceramics is that they never rust and are lufetime. I dont like buyin new reels i like my reels ta last. Ask meaux i take care of my investments
