Default Fishing Big Woods

Haven't ever been there, heard it costs a pretty penny to be a member. Started my job last week and found out we were going to have the company party there today. I work with longcast's wife and was able to bring a friend...invited Jedi Lure Trick.

Has anyone ever fished this area? Looking through the pics on the website http://bigwoodsfishandgame.com/ and seeing a lot of quality fish. I am excited to say the least. We get to fish for a couple hours before its time to eat some crawfish. Pics will be posted after.

I maybe mistaken but I believe it is a catch and release program. Never fished big woods.

They have got some monster everything in there. I have a friend who was the caretaker there. He caught a 14 lb bass. I have seen big sac and hybrid beam in there. Bring your biggest bass baits and have fun.

Yeah, I know it is catch and release only. Was not looking to keep, just catch huge fish.

I have fished there a couple of time. Great fishing...... from a boat [they have several for members] or just from the docks or bank.

~ 15 years ago...... family membership was about $ 1600 per year. This encludes use of a camp on the lake and hunting.

We just got back and it's pretty awesome. Picked up s few fish. Jared caught one at least 3 lbs and the best news is my 5 year old son caught his first bass. He also caught it on a plastic worm and a spider man combo. I thought he was just hung up till I saw a flash. First bass and first fish on artificial. One proud dad. Pics in a few.
