Default Another Hog

deer season basically over, time to start the transition work the boat into fishing mode, we hunted the basin for the primitive hunt on saturday, had a bunch of does come around me late in the day, but its bucks only, managed to drop this little sow in her tracks with the 45/70 on the way out of the woods, guess her to be around 80lbs, will be some good eatin right there

Nice pig! Congrats. Hopefully the roads aren't all shut down around cenla tomorrow. I have a pack of 7 piney woods rooters hanging close to my stand right at dark. Baited them up good this morning, but had to work today. Time to shoot some swine.

Yessir! Had to try out the 17 on something a lil bit bigger than the squirrels and rabbits. The sow didn't fare so well either. 155 gr of Remingtons finest took her to the promised land. The lil piglets hung around for the second round where my and a buddy cut em with the rimfires. 5 down total. We each took 2 small ones and the sow is hanging until the morning!

Got her stuffed with potatoes, carrots, onions, bell peppers, radishes, and rubbed in Tony's. Come 6 we will see what that thing smells like.
