Default 9-25 and 9-27-17 Calcasieu White Perch

Still finding a few small ones. Again it's nothing like it used to be years ago but glad to catch a few. Have pulled a 100 or so out since started fishing for em. 10-12 feet of water seems to be the best depth with some coming in 8 feet. Bad thing is have not been able to catch them again after catching in that hole. Luckily the Calcasieu has no shortage of falling tree tops. I have fished for them at all different times and late morning early afternoon seems to be best times. After 3pm catch one here and there but no numbers. This is wat happened on 25th when we went out and caught a dozen or so at almost as many am places. Today I was on water for 7am and found 3 at as many stops that were fished before then around 9 am I tried a different tree too and it was on for 30-45 minutes then just quit. Pulled 15 or so out of it and then one or two more at a few different spots. Ended the morning with another 20. Don't have pics from 25th cause came in late and dad cleaned them next day but here are the ones I pulled out this am. Going to give it a break for awhile but still hope to find some bigger ones later. Good luck everyone.

Thanks for the great report. Interesting that late morning and the early afternoon are the better times. Glad you're catching!
