Default Scorpion in Delcambre?
Anybody ever found one of these in South La. A guy just brought this into my office, This was in Delcambre between New Iberia & Abbeville. I found 2, 10-15 years ago at our camp in Ms just north of Angola.

Great!!! Now I gotta worry about freaking scorpions too I don't ever remember anybody seeing them around Delcambre.

I got hit by a scorpion when I was 12 years old. It stung me on the side of my foot while I was at a camp in Texas. It took a while to get over that...made for a terrible summer...

never seen one down here. but i used to work in Pampa Tx. and they were every where ...full of tarantulas too

yes the brown scorpion is a native species to La,
Have seen them in rock parking lots and cap jlt has them in buras.

I had a girlfriend that brought me 2 home in a cage.....wasn't She sweet?? The cage had a black light on top of it.....woke up one day and one had 10 white dots on its back......looked real close amd the dots were moving!!! They had Babies!!!! The little ones were small enough to get out, needless to say.......they met the buisness end of a can of starting fluid and a lighter......

I was changing the bulb in my daughters room and found a dead one in the globe but my father in law brought me some mesquite wood from texas and they have them bad so I think he brought it with the wood.
