Question Hypo question....

Hypothetical question ....I know there are a lot of variables but in any ones exp. what would be the furthest you could put say a six inch group best ? 40 cal. double action semi auto 4 inch barrel ....357 mag. revolver single action 4.62 inch barrel or 6 inch barrel ???

Hypotheticaly the 6" single action would have a lighter trigger and longer sight radius but in real world its the operator. 4" group should be achieved at 25 yards with all of the above but you need to practice and that 4" group can be turned into a 3". I have a 6" .357 Blackhawk and at 50 yards i can freehand a 4" group all day. I have never hunted with it but would be confident to shoot a deer out to 50 yards and have a clean kill.

I have no exp. with them just 22 and 22 mag. single action revolvers and was leaning to a .357 . Actually a Blackhawk convertable that can shoot cheap 9's to practice....

I wondered if i could buy 9mm cylinder for my .357, .38spcl are still fairly expensive to shoot. I have 2 9mm semi-auto's and been shooting Winchester USA Forged steel cased for around .19c a round.
