Default Southern goose outfitters 12-21-13

This morning was slow lots of geese but they were way high. Had a guy call me around lunch. Him and his brother wanted to get in a hunt before the rain this afternoon. I told him I didn't think it was a good idea and that we wouldn't have enough time. Well I'm glad they didn't take my advice cause it worked out. When they pulled up to the field at 1:30 I was already set up. Birds everywhere while I was setting up. 2 hours later we had our 6 specs with 5 bonus blues and snows. They had a body of blues and snows in the field south of us. The wind was howling so hard they couldn't even hear us shooting. Mainly sky busted the blues and snows about 40-50 yards up as they we're going to meet the body. The specs were legs out in our face15-20 yards out . Gotta love when you you can work em all the way in like that. Geese were still piling in the field behind us when we left but the rain had arrived so we high tailed it.

Good looking stringer for a hunt trying to beat the rain.

Nice. We got a couple specs this morning. They weren't super cooperative. Frustrating

I'm unsure right now if I will. If everything works out I'm going chase the migration all the way back north this spring.
