Calcasieu Ship Channel
Been a good spell since I have visited this site and had the opportunity to break away to do some fishing. Fishing the LAGC tournament on Friday. Anyone have tips for inshore specs/reds? Tournament held out of Calcasieu Point Landing. My current gameplan is to hang around the ship channel and fish live shrimp under cork. Feel free to PM me any hints. TIA

Just saw your post..... I would have said, go south. But with the salinity being fairly high for the past month the fish maybe farther north now. I have not been on the water for over 3 week, boat is in the shop.
