Nice hunt.....and good to see some mallards killed. Last few hunts at my spot South of Kaplan has been pretty good...killed 12 teal this morning. On a positive note, seeing a lot more ducks.

We have killed between 1to 3 Mallards per hunt for the last five days, duck numbers in my area are not even close to normal.I have been in this blind 29 years now and this year started with the worst teal season in history and a slower than normal regular season but we are still killing plenty,I had a feeling it would be like this with the el nino winter,it always is too wet and fronts come from the west.

Nice! Thursday and Friday were pretty decent for us considering how the bulk of the season has been. We're finally seeing birds other than teal and grays. We took a few mallards and a mottled duck in our mix.
