Not yet, but there is a boat launch at ?Bass Lake?.

Heck, I didn't know about the one you pinned. I think I'd feel better launching at highway. Hopefully the traffic would hinder the riff raff from breaking in. Then again, between Deweyville and starks, it's a crap shoot. Just looks like an interesting place to fish.

How wide is the river in this area and depth? I been wanting to try Crappie on Sabine or Mermantau but not sure how far north I should try from either place for Crappie. Example: watermelon bay is about the furthest south I ever caught Crappie on Calcasieu River and I'm sure it's cause of the saltwater / brackish water that backs up. So was wondering wat the areas on these two would be like watermelon bay on Calcasieu if that makes any sense?
