Fished Toledo this week with the bite being really good in the afternoon. Morning bite was decent.

The bass are biting, usually in the water, they are being caught by hooks usually in the side of the mouth! I got a few other secrets wanna hear em!

Usually september and october can be harder months to catch, fish are schooling and suspended in deeper water, or you can try to catch some ambush bass up against the banks and points by trees but it will take you all day in most areas to get just a few fish! November gotta be one of the best months to fish imo! I usually swap over to trout fishing this time of year until mid January.

We caught good on flukes in the grass(1-5ft of water). Also did well with top water in the afternoon. Talked to a guy that did a little better than us in 12-15ft of water on c-rigs. There are lots of fish from the banks to 15ft of water, you shouldn't have any trouble catching right now.
