Default Vermilion Bay reds 5-13-17

Fought tough north winds and low water but managed to pull out a four man limit of reds and some flounder. Caught all of our fish on dead shrimp under popping cork working drains and moving water.

Damn good catch for the conditions!

We tried to crab and fish inside the island but just caught hardheads and gafttops.

Saturday was tough for me in the hot spot, low water and high winds had me home by 10:30. Maybe if my buddy would bring me in a nice dry boat I could catch a few

Nope, had only 1 get to the trap and he was on the bottom. Fell off before we could get him in the boat.
