Default Black Lake

Hi gang! I'm new to this site and I like the features and all plus it looks like people actually post here frequently, I've visited other sites that have been dormant for like 2-3 years, not much help. My son is my fishing partner and he had his house built last year while also tending to a 2 year old daughter so we just didn't get to come down and fish like we usually do... life happens. We have finally gotten loose next weekend, May 28/29, to come down and wet a line but don't you know the weather is iffy. We can handle the rain but wind ain't nothing to play with and it looks pretty breezy in the forecast. I thought we might try Black Lake but we have only been back there twice and didn't do squat! Not even sure where to go but I went west of the pipeline on a tip and we just struck out. I was wondering if someone might give us a hint at a couple places to try, I'm not asking for honey holes just general stuff. Course, if you want to message me a secret spot, that'll work!! My lips are sealed (I carried a Top Secret/NAC clearance for 20 years) Hopefully, the wind will be manageable and we will be able to fish Big Lake or the jetties like we normally do. Thanks for any info and, again, hello!! Scotty

As it gets closer and you know what wind is doing and what launch you are coming from ask again and you should easily get some answers

I have nothing significant to add on black lake as i normally just fish the cuts on the north side of the pipeline with mixed results, but I'd like to take the opportunity to thank you and your family for your service and for my freedom.

fish west cove if weather lets u. Also black lake is usually hit or miss for me. Like I limit out or catch nothing. Its the only place ive fished hard this year and pulled many limits out of there at end of April beginning May.

What are you targeting? Specks? Reds? Flounder? Or all of them?
