Default 10-11 and 11-19 - Long Over Due - Bruno

My wife has never been "on" saltwater fish so I decided to book a trip. I lucked upon saltycajun and after posting that I was looking for a guide we were set to fish with Chris Bruno on the 11th. Chris worked hard and we fished hard but didn't have a whole lot to show for it. We even gave up on trout in the afternoon and tried to find some flatties. Ended the day with 12 specs, 2 reds and 1 flounder. We couldn't ever get on a roll. We'd pick up 1 or 2 fish off a set and they'd break up, just wasn't in the cards. Chris was dissapointed in how things had went and offered a discount or a return trip. Since my wife had fun and I was confident with what I saw from Chris we booked a return trip the following week.

Fast forward to the next week and we caught a mess of specs, 3 reds and a flounder. Same tactics, spots and technique, different day and much better results.

I've been on a few guided fishing and hunting trips but I've never experienced the level of service that I did with Chris. He didn't have to give some random couple from Texas a break but he did. To me that speaks volumes about Chris. Many Thanks.

We're going to book a trip for my in-laws for christmas with him. The only bad thing is that I think I'll be the odd man out when it come to being the 3rd wheel.

It was a great trip. I parlayed it into buying a couple of kayaks to do some fishing on the "cheap:" She's hooked for the moment, just have to keep her on fish now.
