Default Dirt bike riding place?

Is there any place in the Bundi.ks Lake/Dry Creek area to ride dirt bikes? I know Cravens isn't too far, but is there any place a little closer?

Not that I'm aware of. Back when we rode cravens was our main place.

Sandstone Trail at Kisatchie NF, Kisatchie district (aka Red Dirt). Excellent 26 mi main loop with a shorter 6 mi or so inner loop. Sandy, hilly and rocky with several creek crossings. Most crossings are bridged but a few are natural and interesting. A great campground at the bayou with the closest thing to rapids in our state.

Thanks for the help. Let me take a different angle. Is there any place within a couple of hours of lake Charles to ride dirt bikes with RV hookups nearby? I think you can dry camp at Cravens but looking for some place to hook up.

Kisatchie has limited water hookups but no sewer/electrical. It does have free solar hookups.

This may show my ignorance, but do they really have solar hook ups?

I picked up a pamphlet a few years ago.....For the Fullerton camp ground, it says they have Trailer and Camper spots. But it does not show to have elect. or sewer.

Call the Ranger office at 1 318 793-9427 to get more info.

There are lots of big pine trees for shade and a bath house.

Fullerton Park does not have hook ups. There is one water faucet for the entire campground and a couple bathrooms. They are supposed to install new bathrooms with showers in the coming months.

Maybe Sabine ATV Park. You might not be able to go everywhere but that place is huge so you would have plenty of areas to explore. I assume they allow dirt bikes.
