Default Big Lake 4-14-12

Me and longcast hit the water not really expecting to catch any fish due to the high winds but decided to go just to get away from the house and get on the boat. Our original planned spot proved to be un-fishable due to the wind and we were unsure what to do next. We picked a random spot that was out of the wind and decided to stop to collect our thoughts. To our amazement we started catching fish. We stayed there the rest of the morning. Inchspinner called saying they were struggling so he came and met us and was able to put fish in the boat as well. Ended the day with 11 flounder, 2 specks and a red, with a few throw backs as well. Biggest fish went to longcast with a 3.5 pounder. All fish caught on gulp shrimp and swim mullets on Stick em rods. I could feel the flounder bumping my bait perfecty on my 7 foot med light stick em. Longcast and the fam will be over shortly for a back yard fish fry!

Yeah it was bad yesterday on the water but when I woke up today I could tell it was much worse. Glad I stayed home today.

Good ride in rough water? I need something I can get to marsh island in and I have a 90 already. You got any idea what just the boat and trailer would cost?
