Default 4 Wheeler help

2001 Honda 350 Rancher electric shift
Battery is good but it will not start, it clicks when I push the starter.
Have checked all of the connections that I know of and still clicking.
I can also put into gear and rock it several times and go back to neutral
and it will start. Any one have an idea? Who is good in Lake Charles besides
the dealerships?

Agree with Jordan. Sounds like the starter solenoid.

jump it with a screw driver and it will tell you....but if it clicks it is either your battery or starter because the clicking is your solenoid engaging.

There is a guy that used to work for the Honda dealership that works on them but I don't know his name.

Call Ralph Babin. His number should be in the book. He is over off of Ihles road. Make sure to make an apt with him as he is running his business out of his house

I have this number from a few years ago, he did some work for me. Unless he has changed his number. The guy is honest and does good work.

Brushes in starter are bad, just had mine done by Ralph Babin in LC, he is probably the guy your thinking about from the Honda shop years ago.
