Default Best utility trailer?

Looking in to getting a new trailer for hauling ATV, lawnmower, etc. 5' x 8' seems to be an adequate size for my needs. Big Tex and Parker Performance are two that i've been eyeing pretty closely. Any other recommendations?

You can tell the difference between a well built trailer and cheaper made trailer fairly easily. Big Tex makes a good trailer in my experience. I have a 6 1/2x12 Diamond C with the tailgate that folds in half. The thing is tough. Have drug it through the woods and down pipelines and everything and it's still solid. Pulls well also.

Texas Bragg. Buy from a dealer who can fix it when it breaks. And buy locally. No factory stores where the $$$ leaves town.

I just purchased a 5X10 for my quad yesterday. I looked at a few things, and learned a few things-not all utility trailers are created equal.
1- price
2-GVWR
3-overall construction
Lowes which I thought would have the best deal, didn't. The highest price-w/lowest GVWR(1350 lbs) at $1199. Now there may have been a better deal elsewhere, but I didn't want to spend alot of time looking around-the one I liked the best was in my home town at Sattler Supply in Eunice.
1-$1100
2-GVWR-3500 lbs
3-extra bracing up front with a pipe top rail.

I like the extra GVWR rating because I plan on not only using it for my 4 wheeler, but my kids seem to enjoy moving from place to place, and I like knowing I can carry a good amount of weigh on it.

I had a big tex and it was a decent trailer but it was over priced and the underside wasn't even painted (didn't notice that til I had it for a while). I looked at those maxey trailers. Looked to be good quality.

If you can't find what you want, try CF's Trailers in Alexandria, they build it like you want it, or you can buy one of their standard trailers they build.
