Default dead fish in ship channel

my buddy (yellowmouth7) just called me said his dad spotted hundreds of dead fish (trout, mullet, redfish etc.) in the calcasieu river ship channel near Talons. Anyone hear anything about this?

How would these kill fish??? There has been production and pipelines in Big Lake longer than I have been alive.

There is also a big fish kill in Sabine. I will get the picture from a friend who lives on Pleasure Island and post it here.

I wouldnt worry to much about it, fish kills are normal, probably due to no tides recently, (lack of O2) if the fish get caught in this lack of water movement, they may not recover However there may be something else. I search for **** like this everyday and haven't heard of anything. I am not an expert but very aware of what goes on in this area

I can't get the pictures of Sabine Lake from work. Facebook don't let me see pictures out here.
