Default GI Offshore 6/20

Was in Grand Isle for the last week and booked an offshore charter with Reel Addiction Charters for last saturday. Originally was gonna do a tuna/deep dropping trip but my crew changed to just me and 3 women that had never been offshore before(my wife, her friend, and my sister), with the exception of my wife who has only been trolling on a sportfisher in Antigua, so that doesnt really count. We changed the plan on thursday to a mangrove/red snapper run just so we could have alot of action. and it was non stop fun. Limited out on 40 mangroves on a mix of croaker and sardines. Also managed to boat a bunch of the highly endangered trigger fish, and my wife caught her first ling all by herself. Then we ran deep to try for some bigger Red snapper and some grouper. Managed to catch a couple small AJs, lost a grouper in the rig, caught a few big sharks and limit of 10 -15lb snaps. Everybody had a good time I will definitely be calling Capt Cory again next time I need a charter out of Grand Isle.
