Rough day
The tuna fish were not feeding well. The sharks were keeping us busy. Just before noon we found some bonito and a few tuna followed suit. By this time things were getting worse. We had some 6-8 seas and at one time we got hit broadside by a wave that crested on the side of the boat. Everybody on that side got soaked and it splashed spray over the T-top. If I was in my Glaicer Bay I would have been heading in about that time or maybe sooner. We fished it as long as we could and made a full day out of it. The fishing was as rough as the seas. 2 yellows and 5 1/2 blacks in the boat today. Plans are to go inshore tomorrow. Life is Good! Fishing is not a matter of life or death. It's more important than that. CAPT HOOP -- OUR FREEDOM |
