Default Road work going to Big Lake

Starting tomorrow there will be a major road "improvment" to I-210 in Lake Charles.

This road work will be in the Nelson road area and I-210 will only have one lane open most of the time between the I-210 bridge and Lake street. This work will be on both East and West bound lanes. The first exit coming off the I-210 bridge will remain open for anyone coming from the West.

This work will take ~ 6 months to complete.

For anyone coming from East of Lake Charles.....It might be quicker to go by way of Grand Lake to get to Hebert's landing. The driving distance is just about the same. Watch your speed going down past the airport....that road is patroled fairly often.
