Default Jet ski accident

Anyone know about the jet ski accident in big lake today? Just know bits and pieces but two 11 year old boys were involved. Thanks.

Had 2 boats out pulling tubes and 2 jet skis Also (all together )

.
One of the jet ski had two boys on it one 14 other 12

Assuming the kids were trying to jump wakes of boats and some how ended up running into one of the boats where both kids knocked off jet ski
The 12 year old was knocked out and fell out of his lifjackt and driver 14 year old was hurt also.
By time boats knew what happen the could not recover little boy

They ended up finding him just after dark last night

The family has a camp here at Pelican Point (family is from Lafayette)

Sad deal all around ...

Very bad deal. My little brother and the kid who passed away are in the same class at Fatima here in Lafayette.

Not trying to be controversial here but doesn't the law state that you have to be 16 to operate a personal watercraft and have taken a boater safety course?

I feel horrible for the family of that little boy. Prayers for all involved.

It's also against da law to drive over the speed limit and not come to complete stops at stop signs? You ever break the law?
