Default Full Moon? Post Rain? or Dumb luck?

This morning I fished a little lake near my office that I fish a couple times a week for an hour or 2 just to get outside and relax. Average about 2 fish per trip catch and release with a best trip of 4 bass. This morning fishing the same baits and patterns as usual I caught 8 and missed a couple. Did anyone else fishing have the same experience or was I just lucky?

I fished laccassine yesterday and high pressure, sunny, hot, didn't do as well as most days but caught 8 with 6 respectable keepers, I think weather has a lot to do with action of fish but if you dial them in, find where there at and what they want you can catch em, nice fish man!

The lake is in BR 1/2 mile from work. Drove by it for 12 years before actually trying it out to see if it held any fish.

Default Hit it again

After working the night shift I hit the lake again this morning with threatening storms. Caught 6 before getting chased out with a rain storm.
