Default Miami Corporation: "Cocaine Lake"

Can anyone tell me how to get there from the Intracoastal Canal/ Superior Canal?
Any info is appreciated.
I've heard of it for years but don't know how to go about getting there.

Once you run out of the end of the 45 canal it starts. All of that open marsh is considered cocaine lake

It is called cocaine lake because it is wide open marsh with lily pads in the late summer it turns white with white flowers

So, if you enter the Superior Canal from the Intracoastal, you run South until it doglegs to the left. Travel that canal East and it dead ends to Cocaine Lake?
Is it that easy, or is there more to it?

Can anyone help me find the regulations on fishing the Burns? I know you need a permit and a 25hp.

I ran all the way to the end of the 45 canal earlier this year and got bogged down. Shut down. It was push-pole time.

Seems like I remember the canal splitting into two (three?) different cuts at the East end of it.

The water is much higher now. It does split up into different trails. Just start fishing and learning it. It is a large area
