Gater Season

I lifted this pic from out local facebook group. They are off to a pretty good season the water is dropping and bringing some big boys outa the swamp to the bayous. They been gorging on a fish kill and slow to bite but friends of mine are catching.

I haven't heard of any fish kills on the news? how bad was it and where?

Wasn't bad just when it rains lots like it has and the water goes up, when it drops it drops lots of black water into the bayous. It happens kinda often to bayous with swamp banks.

We started Thursday, over on the west side and it's been slow, 16 Fri an 22 today. But they all been over 7 and fat fat. So far, 72left to go.

we harvested 322 in 14 days here in Johnson Bayou. they were all good and fat
