Default GI 6/29 and 6/30

Fished GI Friday and Saturday. Water was absolutely beautiful. Ran about 18 mi south til I got into 100' of water. Tied up to a rig and started pulling up mangroves with a few red snapper in between. We also caught a few lane snapper. Thats always a nice bonus. Went back the next morning and did the same thing. Done by 11 and headed back in.

We had squid, pogy, and cigar minnows. Squid and cigar minnows worked best. The biggest ones came off whole minnows about 8" long.

2110 Nautic Star. Was able to run about 27 mph smoothly. Any faster it was trying to jump the swells. All in all it handled up real nice. I pick and choose my days to go out very wisely. Would like a 24' but that will have to wait a lil longer.

Go head.

What engine are you running. Your CC is blocking the sticker in that pic, lol.

Not to hijack your thread, but how do you like that boat overall?

HPDI 150.... I really like the boat overall. I mainly fish big lake and it is perfect for that. I love trout fish but I really really love offshore fishing. My next boat will be something I can easily do both.
