Bounce Hill Country Deer Hunt

I just secured a 3000 ac. ranch for the week between Christmas & New Years in Paint Rock, Tx. That's about 1.5 hours N of Junction. I would like to have a single group of 6-7 or two groups.

4 days, 3 nights. Total of 6 hunts: PM first day, AM/PM 2nd day, AM/PM 3rd day, AM 4th day

$900 per person. Group allowed to harvest 20 deer -- does and spikes/cull bucks if tags still available. Ranch is MLDIII. Price includes lodging and transportation on ranch. hunters provide own food. 5 minutes to nearest town with a convenience store/grill. 20 minutes to town with restaurants (Eden or Ballinger).

Nice comfortable living quarters w/ full kitchen, propane grill, fire pit, satellite TV, walk in cooler, covered game processing area. Camp located right off of HWY so you can drive up in your Mercedes or motor home!

200 acre wheat field that holds 30-60 deer every evening. comfortable blinds throughout ranch. most are double stands.

Bring your 4 wheelers or side by sides if you like.

I have personally hunted this ranch for the past 3 years. There is a ton of deer and you will have a great time.

Spots filled. One lucky group of guys I assure you. It's all whitetail with an occasional axis/fallow/aoudad thrown in free ranging.

Had 5 guys in camp. Each got their 3 allotted deer. One guy even shot an aoudad ewe. One hunter paid for a guide to sit with him one evening because he saw a monster buck ( 10 pt) that morning and wanted to shoot it. The cost would be determined by the total raw score but he got it on camera and looked to be in the 150 class range. Well low and behold he shot the deer and they searched for it until well after midnight, even bringing in a tracking dog. They lost the blood trail after about 1000 yards into a cactus thicket and never found the deer. Think he hit it low in the brisket cause there was minimal blood trail. It was about a 150 yard shot. Searched after Sundays hunt for about 2 hours and found where he lId down a couple times but never recovered it. That miss cost him $1000. The rancher cut him a deal because if he had found it and it would have been 150 class it would have been over $3000! Normally if you draw blood you pay full price but since they never got to score it and only estimated they cut him some slack. Thems r the breaks.

I'll be looking to make a hunt this year with my son and possibly a few others. My father in law mentioned dropping his lease in MS and making one good "almost gauranteed" hunt.

Send me a PM next year when you have something lined up. Earlier the better so I can have my vacation scheduled.

Thanksgiving weekend 2016:

Arrive Thanksgiving, Thursday PM. Hunt Friday AM/PM, Saturday AM/PM, Sunday AM if necessary.

Hunt includes lodging and 3 deer (does, spikes, cull bucks). Opportunity for a 120-130 class buck at extra, market price.

You will provide your own meals, drinks.

Room for 4-5 hunters. Yo may bring your son/daughter under 16 and share the 3 deer for only $50 more.

I will be along for this hunt so we can coordinate meals among the group. There is a cafe that serves breakfast and lunch a few miles (4-5) away.

Price is $750 per hunter. Ranch is located near Eden, TX.
