Default GI sunday by foot.

Weather was nice so me and two others headed down and got to GI around 12. Driving down the water was nice color and pretty clear. We were going to go to Elmers Island first but found out its closed during weekdays. So we fished the canal that runs along the road, then to the bridge pier, then to the beach at the park, then to the canals just before getting to the island. Fished for 5 hours and only caught one hardhead at the last spot. Fished with dead shrimp, top water, artificial, and suspended. At least the weather was nice down there.

Walked out there once to see. In the summertime, people were catching a mix of puppy drum and redfish. The mix of catch from the bridge pier by the pass was more interesting if I was going to fish a pier. Last Feb, we did fish the bridge pier by the pass. Lots of folks catching bull reds and bull drum. In the summer, folks catch all kinds of stuff: trout, whiting, reds, etc.
