Default Lake Charles

I'm going to be going to Lake Charles in the middle of October. Staying at the Golden Nugget.

If I drag my boat over there will it be hard for me to find a place to fish?

I haven't fished that area before so I have no idea.

I would suggest getting this Hook n Line map. It will give you enough spots to keep you busy all weekend.

Honestly, mid October, birds should be working everywhere.

How hard is that River to run? Never been there don't want to go put my boat on rocks or sand bars.

If I can I was going to keep my boat at the casino and just jump in it and run down the river. But I don't even know if that's possible.

Yes it's possible and we we don't get anymore significant rains there will be fish right at the casino. Google Earth is your friend. If you run south to big lake, just follow the channel markers. Tomorrow I can Pm some Google maps with some areas to fish. I'm no expert however.

I have seen specks working the lights right under the docks at L'auberge.

The docking fee is something I would call about in advance.
