Hey Rev, you ever ask your boss where they are biting? I bet he has got the 411.

LOL!!! Me too! I walked out this morning and said to myself, "Perfect weather for the bat, do I really need to go to work" then reality set in...

If you guys were out here right now you might not be saying that. Stiff little 8 to 10 mph breeze with gust. Its misting with a dense fog. It take you a while to get to your fising spot. Hell you need a pretty good radar to find your trolling motor. Tide just quit moving. I caught 3 reds off the back of the rig this morning but threw them back. Nazi safety man won't let me put fish in "his" freezer.

Come to think of it, you right. Same conditions as last Tuesday when I jumped those Reds. That was one of the best redfish bites I have seen in the bay.

My boat was on Caldwell Reef for a week straight had to wait til a good tide got it off. Busted up the hull so ain't been able to go too far been just putting gill nets up in Bayou Parcperdue for the buffalo runs. Got us a couple inflatable kayaks and got on the ducks a couple days but they flare off that yellow yak gotta paint it a little better. Brought rod with me the first day but kept putting holes in that yak and almost ran outtta duck tape to patch it lol.

Buddy got him his first baldpate though in Weeks Bay put it in freezer to get mounted but these buffalo need to run a little better to make some money for all that

THIS.......the absence of any full-time, year round guides in the VB area shows how tough it can be to catch specks on a consistent basis.
