Seems like most all the big trout baits are made in Tejas.

I’m sure they have a million of them that never caught a trout...this bait needs time and patience to fish......I only fish one wading and then I hate to fish them...

I can catch the same big trout with a Sand Eel Sr or Jerk Jr with a 1/8 oz jig head....I will catch more fish with this set up as well...

I have caught some nice ones on Corkys but I rather wade and catch numbers of big trout than one or two....

After fishing yesterday we tried for a big trout and rigged up some Mann's Stretch 30's and pulled a couple of ballyhoo rigs behind a purple/black marauder. We got some crazy looks from the drifters so we just switched to Flying Lures and Helicopter Lures with our Pocket Fisherman and it was game on. 6 lbs plus on EVERY cast

U right. I have caught 95% of my trout on the lake on sand eels. Only 1 over 5 lbs. But when I'm hoggin, I don't throw eels. Confidence issues I guess. Everything else over 5 on topwater and a few on live.

Corkys are trash. I will give you $3 a bait no matter the color or type.

They say bigger bait equals big fish....my personal best was a 6 1/2 pounder caught on a sparkle beetle. A she dog is my favorite to target bigger trout on,caught several 5's on that lure.
