Default How many of my fellow anglers have lost cell phones while fishing?

I lost one in Toledo Bend Tuesday afternoon while setting the hook on a 12 inch bass!

Never lost one but came close. My phone rode in my trolling motor all the way from the boat landing to the hunting lease and never flew out. That's is about as close as I have came to losing it.

Default how may of my fellow phones while fishing.

I haven't lost one but did fall out of the boat with mine in my pocket. Cost me $45 dollars with insurance.
My buddy lost his overboard in 10 ft of water at night so he gets his son to hold the qbeam and over the side he went. His son was 16 or 17 at the time and was traumatized and needed therapy. Just kidding he is ok. But phone didn't work.

I went overboard with mine in my pocket once. Luckily it was before smartphones so it just spent the weekend in a bucket of rice and was good to go.

A life proof case was a good investment for me. Dropped it off the dock once and once into Houston river. Also keeps me from being nervous in the rain or by the pool.

I a 5 11 and when I jumped in and couldn't touch bottom I new it was gone but I made another attempt and still couldn't find it so I hope the fish enjoy their new I phone!

Mine took a swim in lake fork a few weeks ago. Managed to snatch it out and pull the back and the battery off quick enough it didn't soak in. Put it in some rice for a day and she all good.

I've lost a number of Nokia phones in Grand Isle, Theriot, Henderson, toilet, and a mop bucket. And a iPhone 3G in my swimming pool. But I've decided that it's never going to happen AGAIN!!! Hahahah ICloud is the best insurance. I tried a lifeproof case for 2 phone calls and no one understood what I wAs saying, so I gave it to my son.

Went to net my cousins trout while on the phone with my dad. I accidentally dropped the phone into the water and scooped it up as well as the fish with the net! Picked it out the net and continued my conversation with my dad! Life proof saved the day. I now have a life jacket for my phone lol
