Cameron fishing pier ??

Does anyone know if you can launch a kayak off of the beach on the east side of the jetties by the cameron fishing pier? How much is it to get in? I figure i might try that area this weekend with this westerly wind.

Yes you can. I think it is $5 to get in.
You have to park then go over a wooden walk way to the beach.
It is free if you go down the PHI road or the ERA road and get to the same beach.

Thanks. I was thinkin i wanted to fish near the jetties. How far are those roads?

Take a left at the only caution light just East of Cameron. It isn't far from the Jettys. But probably too far to paddle.
