They there. We just haven't had the right conditons lately. Need that north wind. Usually not till July the winds really lay down and it heats up out there. Did really well out there in July/August.

How light did it say? Last week it was supposed to be 6 mph SSE and with the 20 mph gale that was blowing and the really high tide the waves were lickin at the highway.

Default Green Water

My dad said the water was green in Holly Beach yesterday, and the wind is just as slack today. But they are calling for it to switch south this afternoon. So it might dirty it back up, we caught them on the beach on Labor Day so they will be there if the conditionsa re right. My dad said the the Army Core was there yesterday putting large blocks along the beach in Cameron as an attempt to stop the erosion on the beach, the blocks were 3X3, being filled with sand and stacked two high...

Hit the beach two weeks ago, and the water was purty, the bait was poppin non stop the whole time. Trout hadn't really showed up yet though. Caught a few nice ones, but mostly just hit the reds. Tried last sat, and wind was nasty, water looked like chocolate milk.

That is some Hesco barrier for the oil also. Double duty barrier.

Throw pearl white 3" gulp shrimp on jighead. That should work for reds. If it's callin for 3-8 out south it will be too dirty for specks.
