Brew Toledo bend help

Never fished the Bend before, got a company tournament next Friday and was wondering if someone would point me in a good direction, will be staying at N State park. Any good spots near the park? Good baits ,colors to try ect.... Ill be fishing in my x press next to these big ole 50,000 bass boats but I wanna show them I can catch one or two. Any help will be appreciated, PM me if you will and thanks!!! Don

I fish that area a lot. As you leave the launch, you will be on a huge flat. Good bass fishing in the area. You will probably see a lot of boats as that is a popular place to fish, in fact I may be there Saturday. Depending on weather, you will have to determine whether they are on the shoreline are a little deeper. Bass Kandi Sweet Stiks and Kandi Stiks in watermelon red are a good choice along the shoreline. Rattletraps and spinnerbaits are always good this time of year. And don't worry about that xpress boat, as that is what I fish out of also.

Rayburn Red or Toledo Gold traps and one knockers. Fish the banks and the flats with grass on them.

never fished toledo, but watermelon red flukes worked slowly along the banks or on tops of grass are always hard to beat any where, I'd think..
