Default Marsh Island 09-19

With the ideal conditions my brother and I made a trip to marsh island on a good falling tide. Started at 10:00 fished till 3 or so. Caught all redfish sight casting with egret mambo mullet purple/chart and small hair jigs. They were eating up the hair jigs like no tomorrow. Caught a 4' gator gar on the mambo mullet....dude choked it down. Never had a gar chase a bait like that before. Snagged a flounder in the belly for a bonus. Great day on the water. Sorry but don't ask where in marsh island,I won't give it up.

Very similar to these.....http://www.buggsfishingstore.com/page13.html Sometimes you gotta use something small when your dropping the bait on their nose.

Yep, I also hooked a Gator Gar this weekend, had several chase baits. Did you try for any trout?

No trout...didn't even try. Kinda burnt out on it to be honest. I rather not fish around other boats.
