This is the LDWF number to let you know when they are open. Not sure how accurate it is but every time it has told me they are open they were.

Was a post somewhere about the operation of the weirs (got to wade through a LOT of b.s though), but there was something about leaving them open around full moons, not sure how many days before or after, but it was full yesterday

weirs have been open since June 6th or 7th the day before the pow wow meeting

they will soon close because Miami corp has to get that duck grass saved up for teal season ...the duck hunters are getting a little upset about it being open all summer from what I have heard

If there's a lack of grass, they'll blame it on that when in fact it would be because they kept them closed so long.

CPRA, not LDWF. Let's at least make sure the right agency is getting the flack.

As DB said, there is a thread on here about the management (several in fact). I believe I posted the plan on one of them. Could be wrong though, and if so, I will post it. Or post it again.
