Default General area fishing question

I'm really happy most everybody in the southwest is having such a terrific summer of fishing. To the east in many locations has been pretty awful, so much so that I didn't find it worth my time this summer even though the weather has been much better than last year.

It also seems to have been good in VB. Question is how has it been in Sabine Lake? (Insert the jokes here).

Reason I ask is that some have said that many times when Big Lake is good, Sabine has been off. And vise versa.

Thanks for replies. Hopefully at some point around November the trout will turn on in my locale.

big lake has been a little better IMO. The more consistant bite has been in the ship channel on sabine as can be expected this time of year. The lake has been a struggle for the most part this summer but i expect a jam up fall.
