Fished Point a la hache this afternoon. lots of algae bloom and hyacinth in the water. Ended up with 3 specs, 1 Flounder, and a 30-40lb JackImageUploadedByTapatalk1407716468.551453.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1407716592.993737.jpg

Sparky are you fishing the inland bays for trout right now? If so you best option for trout out of the point is to go fish the platforms of black bay, iron banks and battledore reef area. If not go get skinny way on the inside and throw gold spoons for reds the point has some of the best redfish ponds anywhere.

Fished Bay Gardene, Stone Island, Iron Banks, and a few places on my way in that were loaded with pogies. Probably going to try Pelican Point tomorrow. Had a guy tell me the bad water stretched to the black tanks...I'll give your suggestions as well! Thanks for the tip.

Fishing was tough out there today. Put two specs in the boat and one small Red. Fished Battledore rigs first, then my captain got frustrated because he didn't know the area and ran back inside to dirty water...can't control that. Caught the specs at Battledore and redfish in cox bay. Only gaftops after that.
