Default battery charger

i have a skeeter zx225 with the on board charger. is it ok to leave it plugged in all the time or are u suppose to unplug it when u get to full charge. i leave mine plugged in all the time. just wondering. i had my cranking battery go out on me this weekend. it was only 2 years old. at least i think thats what it is. its in shop now. i have to get a breaker switch put on it to cut off the power poles bc they were draining the batteries as well.

Should have internal circuitry to prevent overcharging. Look on the internet. If so, then leave it plugged.
